wiTECH 16.02 – Confirming wiTECH Release Version Information

Check the wiTECH Patch level by accessing About -> Version Information as shown in the screenshot below. The Patch Level must be at “16.02.11.p1”

Note: Please note that wiTECH Diagnostic Application must have been updated to version 16.02.11 in order for the patch “16.02.11.p1” to be installed on the machine. If you are still running on an old version of wiTECH, please access the following wiTECH Knowledgebase Article link to review the instructions to download and install the latest version of wiTECH Application software:


If the “Patch Level” is “0” or “16.02.11”, the latest software patch has not been installed on your machine. Please follow the steps listed below to update the patch level:

  1. Close wiTECH Diagnostic Application.
  2. Quit the wiTECH Server from the Windows System Tray as shown in the screenshot below:

  1. Restart wiTECH server by going to All Programs -> wiTECH -> wiTECH Server. Please see the screenshot below for reference:

  1. Wait for 5 minutes before launching wiTECH Diagnostic Application.

  1. Launch wiTECH Diagnostic Application.

  1. Check the wiTECH Patch level by accessing About -> Version Information.

  1. If you are still not seeing “Patch Level: 16.02.11.p1” after performing the above steps, reboot the PC/Laptop.

  1. Once the PC is rebooted, repeat the steps 1-7 for 2-3 times to see whether the patch level updates to 16.02.11.p1


E-mail support@witechtools.com if you are unable to update to “Patch Level: 16.02.11.p1" and you have already installed wiTECH Diagnostic Application version 16.02.11.
